Basara Nekki Interview from Fire Bomber Roman Album (see list of Books). Translation by Vutichai "Nekki". h_vut@yum.samart.co.th Modifications by Rik Newman. Vutichai has written this disclaimer: I have to warn you that I can gaurantee only 90% correct in the meaning. My english isn't good enough and to translate Japanese to English and it is very hard to keep exactly the same meaning). Rik says: I have touched up the English language, making it less of a direct translation, but much more understandable. Even so, this definately shouldn't be taken as anything other than a rough version! Q = Interviewer A = Basara Q : When did you start singing? A : Since I was born. Q : When you were young, I've heard that you sang in front of a mountain? A : I want to move the mountain. Q : When did Basara-kun start getting the band into action? A : When I met Ray. Q : Do you put your feelings into the hit songs of Fire Bomber? A : (Laugh) Don't I put it into every song I sing? Q : Before Mylene-san's joining, how many bass players had changed? And what's the difference between Mylene-san and those who quit? A : Mylene is still a kid. She can understand the heart of the song very little. Q : Heart!? A : Yes. A song is heart. Sing what is felt by the heart. Especially when singing for someone, to have an impression upon that person. It's best to sing when you want to. Q : But you don't always sing for someone, right? A : May be not. I sing to the Galaxy (Milky Way). The galaxy is gigantically enormous. Mankind seems very very small in comparison. Q : Umm, do you want to send some messages to the fans? A : Messages?? For that, maybe they can understand if they listen to my song. Ore no uta o kike! (Listen to my song).
