Most of the memorable music in Macross Plus is provided by Yoko Kanno. Probably most recognised for "Voices", which is pretty much the theme for Macross Plus. She was responsible for writing and arranging all of the series background music. Even though the various vocal tracks were performed by a variety of artists who provided their own lyrics, the music and arrangement was still the work of Toko Kanno. Her role in Macross Plus made her famous in western countries amongst Anime fans. Since then she has gone on to be involved in lots of other high-profile Anime series including Vision of Escaflowne, Memories, Turn A-Gundam, Card Captor Sakura and Cowboy Bebop.
